August 30: Canvassing in MichiganSeptember 1: Democracy Nuts & Bolts: Voter Registration to Election Day: Meetings scheduled every two weeks. 6:30 pm, at Pottawatomie Park, 7340 N. Rogers. Everyone is welcome.September 4: Postcard writing to send cards into swing states. 1:00 pm at the Monarch Café [7010 North Clark St]. We'll also gather 9/18; 10/2, and 10/16.September 9: Elect and Protect: Win the Midterms: 6:30 – 8:00 pm at 7056 N. Clark. Pat Graham, Indivisible Chicago Alliance Board and experienced voter protection activist, will explain what voter suppression looks like in battleground states of Michigan and Wisconsin. Pat will share concrete ways each of us can take part in fighting voter suppression: curing ballots, hotline voter education, being a poll observer, or social media sharing. Also, Jack Swenson, Indivisible Chicago Election Committee, will be speaking about all the ways Indivisible Chicago is engaging: canvassing in Michigan and Wisconsin, phone banks, postcards, and more! United Church of Rogers Park at 1545 W. Morse. Benefit concert featuring protest music, singing, and dance! All proceeds will support the fund that provides emergency assistance for essential needs, including housing, food, legal support, medical care, and mental health services for our neighbors most at risk.
